We need to <strong>DETOXIFY<\/strong>. Our body cannot fight on its own against these permanent aggressions. At <a title=\"goalmap\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"http:\/\/goalmap.com\" target=\"_blank\">goalmap<\/a>, we call those the \u201c<strong>don\u2019ts<\/strong>\u201d (negative goals such as do not drink soda, do not watch too much TV, etc.). A lot of the food we eat acidifies our body &#8211; so does the stress of our daily lives. Cleansing the organs \/ body parts is a good way to better resist and eliminate pathogens. Various organs take part in the elimination of \u00ab waste \u00bb in our body:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Liver<\/li><li>Kidneys<\/li><li>Intestines<\/li><li>Lungs<\/li><li>Skin<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">a) Liver<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>liver<\/strong> is like a waste processing factory. It filters and transforms it. Some <strong>vegetables\/fruits<\/strong> enhance these functions: artichoke, radish, garlic, cauliflower, lemon, etc. If you cannot find those where you live or if they are out of season, you can take food supplements that contain then.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also take <strong>vitamin C<\/strong>, which helps the body produce glutathione, a liver compound that drives away toxins. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/goalmap.com\/app\/#\/goalstore\/goals\/sport-health\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/blog.goalmap.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/healthy_diet2-1024x682.jpg?resize=500%2C377\" alt=\"Healthy Diet\" class=\"wp-image-393\" width=\"500\" height=\"377\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">b) Kidney<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>kidneys<\/strong> eliminate waste too. The intestinal flora plays a major role in our health. It is therefore essential to improve its composition by taking <strong>probiotics<\/strong>, which are live bacteria able to restore the flora and protect our body against undesirable germs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">d) Lungs<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>lungs<\/strong> evacuate carbon dioxide. Moving improves toxin elimination. Other activities can be beneficial:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Practice <strong>hydrotherapy<\/strong> by taking a hot shower for a few&nbsp;minutes. Follow this with cold water for 30 seconds. When exercising, breathe deeply to allow oxygen to circulate more completely through your system. Get out of your house, run, swim, cycle, do yoga on a regular basis. <strong>Your body will THANK you<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The best way to detoxify is to do it <strong>DAILY<\/strong>.<br>You are getting our point. <strong>Detox programs are popular<\/strong> (simple fruit and veggie detox, smoothie cleanse, juice cleanse, sugar detox, hypoallergenic detox [a few examples on&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/life.gaiam.com\/article\/detox-101\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">http:\/\/life.gaiam.com\/article\/detox-101<\/a>]) and they can be useful &#8211; drinking only fresh fruit and vegetable juices and water for 3-5 days can be an effective way to release toxins.<br><strong>BUT these detox programs are not as useful as a healthy diet, regular exercises and a healthy lifestyle which enable you to constantly cleanse your body<\/strong>. A healthy diet is really ALL you need. Nutrition and health is about the <strong>big picture<\/strong>, the things you do regularly forever, your <strong>HABITS<\/strong>, and not what you do for just one week. A four-day detox program will not \u201celiminate\u201d all toxins accumulated after a year of an unhealthy diet.
